Vacancy formed in 2016 and is based out of the Inland Empire.
"Shadows" is the follow up to Vacancy's s/t 7" that was released in 2019. Although influenced by bands like The Sound, Gang of Four and The Smiths, Vacancy manages to pull from these musical guides and knead something that the Inland Empire can call it's own.
"Brooding dark melodic post-punk and a wicked up tempo kick with an attitude dipped in spite", they blend political and personal lyrics themes with post-punk melodies.
